In March 2006, Charles Cullen was given 11 life sentences in New Jersey. The following week at another sentencing hearing, this time for his murders in Pennsylvania, he was given seven more life sentences.

He is currently in New Jersey State Prison serving his 18 consecutive life sentences. Now aged 62, he is not eligible for parole until 2388.
