The two men who attacked Mohammed Nazir, 61, and his son at their home in Hull Close, Slough, did not intend to kill him, police believed, saying that Nazir was “unlucky to die.” Both he and his son were shot in the legs, Nazir succumbing to his injuries.

The two suspects who barged into the home on Tuesday, July 28th, 1997, were described as white and Asian. They spoke with local accents and left at high speed in a white car. The motive, which wasn’t robbery, remains unclear.
