The Union Jack Club, a social rendezvous for servicemen visiting London, was the last place visited by Jeremiah Murphy, 44, a homeless Irishman. He was found stabbed and semi-conscious on the clubs steps in Waterloo Road, on Saturday, September 10th, 1966. He died later in hospital. There was no apparent motive.
