Kenneth Herbert, 54, was a security guard on a 35-acre restored 18th-century West Indian plantation when he was attacked by intruders in September 1994. They beat him to death.
David Wilson and Clement Thomas were convicted of the murder, while a third man was found not guilty. Thomas successfully appealed against the verdict, and Wilson, 28, was hanged on Monday, July 20th, 1998, shortly after dawn to date, the last execution in the islands of St. Kitts and Nevis.
