A man, his wife, and his girl friend belonged to a cult that believed sacrificing children could bring them good luck. They took two children, aged eight and 10, tortured them with electrodes, sexually assaulted them, suffocated them in a bath and then drank their blood.

On Friday, November 25th, 1988, Adrian Lim, 26, his wife Tan Mui Choo, 34, and his girl friend Hoe Kah Hong, 33, were hanged in Singapore’s Changi Prison after a 40-day trial, during which the court was told that Hoe had lured the two little victims to his flat knowing they were to be killed, and Tan had previously acted as a procurer of younger women to satisfy her husband’s lust.
