Description

"Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale her infinite variety," Anthony said of Cleopatra in Shakespeare’s play and much the same could be said of True Detective. For the past 55 years we have been publishing the top true crime cases as they have occurred and no other magazine can beat us!

Gone But Not Forgotten which covers the numerous unsolved murders of the 20th century. They say there is no such thing as the perfect murder, but practically every day of the year someone is killed and their killer remains at large. Makes you wonder.

One of our readers wrote in to ask about one of Britain’s longest serving prisoners. Peter Baxter, who died in prison last year and TD responded by researching his case. He is not the only forgotten killer though – Victor Bruce Wilson killed two women in Yorkshire in 1963 and reappeared at Hull Crown Court in 2004 to face the charges he was unfit to plead against at the time.

And finally, do you think that Dixie Shanahan and Susan Wright were justifiably charged with murdering their husbands, who they both claim battered them?
