Description

This is a very good sentence. "I saved him from the gallows," said Iraqi lawyer Tariq Harb after his British client Danny Fitzsimons, found guilty of double-murder and attempted murder while working for a private security firm in Iraq, was spared the death penalty and instead jailed for 20 years. Not everyone agrees. Fitzsimons himself says it amounts to a death sentence anyway.

It takes a lot to shock a pathologist, examining a murder victim¹s body in the morgue. So it¹s probably been a source of satisfaction to Charles Albright, the subject of this month¹s One Life Of Crime, that he achieved just that.
