Just before she was stabbed to death in the neck and chest near her home in Truro, Cornwall, while she was out for a walk on Tuesday, October 20th, 1998, Mrs. Linda Bryant, 41, was seen talking to a man only 100 yards from where she was killed. He hasn’t been traced.

He was described as of medium height, in his 30s, and wearing light clothing. Was he her killer? The motive, according to police, was “probably sexual or hatred of women.”
