July 20th 20/7/1998 David Wilson – St. Kitts and Nevis
Kenneth Herbert, 54, was a security guard on a 35-acre restored 18th-century West Indian plantation when he was attacked by intruders in September 1994. They beat him to death.
David Wilson and Clement Thomas were convicted of the murder, while a third man was found not guilty. Thomas successfully appealed against the verdict, and Wilson, 28, was hanged on Monday, July 20th, 1998, shortly after dawn – to date, the last execution in the islands of St. Kitts and Nevis.
