Howard Long – USA

“His craving for boys remained undiminished throughout his life,” says an American report on the crimes of paedophile Howard Long. His first violent encounter was on November 12th, 1936, when he enticed a nine-year-old into his car. He drove the boy around for 10 hours before trying to molest him.
The victim became frightened and jumped from the moving car to his death. Long stopped, picked up the body and stashed it in the cellar of an abandoned house. The corpse was found a month later when the house burned down.
Nine months later he picked up another boy, aged 10, took him to a secluded spot and raped him before beating him to death with a car tool. He was arrested four days later and hanged for the murder at the New Hampshire State Prison on Friday, July 14th, 1939.
